Today PopMatters premieres decker.’s new music video for “O.D.B”, a song that pays a tribute to Ol’ Dirty Bastard of the Wu-Tang Clan.
decker. explains, "The song itself is meant to be this kind of playful ‘F you’ to the backbiters of the world. So, we wanted the video to be this tongue in cheek, light and fun thing while also being this cinematic and warm kind of display of Northern Arizona. Being named in honor of ODB, it was a pleasing serendipity when we found the quote from him at the beginning, as it’s so applicable to the aim of both the song and the video.”
"O.D.B" will be on his upcoming record Patsy which hits shelves 2/17 via Mescal Porch.

T Bird and The Breaks appear to be a jack of all trades - Funk, Hip-hop, Soul.
T Bird himself describes his music to Glide Magazine & asserts,
“A lot of the times people ask me to describe our music and what we sound like. I’ve always had a hard time describing it. I have a much easier time saying, ‘we’re kind of like this, but not quite the same’. I heard the word Harmonizm used in a skit by the West Coast hip hop group Tha Alkaholiks and it sounded to me like the right word to describe what T Bird & the Breaks sound like. Like harmony with a little extra flavor. Like peace and love with a joint in its mouth driving around in an old Continental. I decided to run with that and wrote the title track off our new album to describe what we do and how we get down.”
Head over to Glide Magazine now to read the rest of their scoop and witness the music video premiere of “Harmonizm”, the title track off of the album, out NOW via Natch’l Boogie Music.

Bombadil's first single, “Amy's Friend,” was named Song of the Day earlier this month at Folk Radio UK, and they had some very nice things to say about it:
The more you play it, however, the more you marvel at the subtle micro-details in the arrangement as they combine to give this it’s stamp of originality and create the unique sonic world of Bombadil. The spectral keyboards, noises off in the fringes and the simple art of drumming becoming something far more playful all add to the magic. It’s so captivating that for just shy of three minutes everything else melts away.
Bombadil’s new album Hold On is due in March!
