Artist Info: Josh Lippi & The Overtimers is the solo project of Sacramento, CA based Josh Lippi; a long time music veteran who has spent the majority of his career playing the support role on the road and in the studio for the likes of K.Flay, skate board legend Tommy Guerrero, Lee Bob & The Truth, The Park, and as a session player with American hip hop artist Logic, and UK soul powerhouse Alice Russell.

Created from his days residing in Mexico City and walking the street of the album's namesake, Manzanillo St; the surrounds, characters and experiences would come to serve as the backbone for his stories shared throughout the works. A reflection of JoshLippi's rock & roll influences, and drawing inspirations from early Brit Rock, 50’s doo- wop, ‘Manzinillo St’ is an exploration into Mexican culture and it’s social struggles, combined with observations of life on the road and the changes in his home life.
Performed in majority by Lippi himself and releasing the record on his own Truth Music Label, Josh Lippi & The Overtimers emotes the energy and spirit of DIY rock & roll, putting in the overtime work to get things done independently.

The first single, "The Girl with the Tambourine," rolls with a heavy groove, screaming dirty organs, and hypnotizing riffs as Lippi sings the tale of a girl who needs help from no one to tear up a room, armed only with a tambourine.
