Thunderpaw is excited to announce the highly-anticipated release of their latest album, "Sunwolf Sessions," on June 21st, 2023. "Cherry Crush" is the first single from the EP.
Originally recorded in 2010, the collection pays homage to the band's previous name, "Sunwolf" and is a rediscovery of the their roots and the essence of their unique Thunderpaw sound. It marks the long-awaited unveiling of the very first collection the band ever recorded, kept under wraps until now.
"Sunwolf Sessions" takes listeners on a captivating journey through five tracks of heartbreak and hope through a lazy downtempo freak folk adventure, reminiscent of hazy summer nights filled with acid washed guitars and blissful, laid-back beats. The EP was produced and mixed by Federico Aubele, while the mesmerizing vocals of Lou Lou Ghelichkhani from Thievery Corporation and Night Glitter grace the track "Cherry Crush." Additionally, the talented Natalia Clavier from Thievery Corporation joins in as a backing vocalist for the enchanting tunes "The Hunted," "Hermosilla," and "The Dreamer."
